NewMulti-reference editing is live

Write the words.
Keep the letters legible.

Most image models turn text into decorative squiggles. Qwen Imaging is built on the Qwen-Image family, which was trained to render real, readable characters — so posters, packaging mockups and slide art come out of the first pass with the copy still spelled correctly.

No install, no local GPU, nothing to configure before your first image.

Generate, Refine, Recombine

The same model family covers a blank canvas, a single photo you want changed, and a pile of references you want merged into one scene.

Start from a sentence

Describe the subject, the framing and the mood, and get a finished frame back. Prompts that specify layout — where a headline sits, what the sign in the background reads — are followed rather than approximated, which is what makes this family useful for design work instead of just mood boards.

  • Portrait, landscape and square framing
  • Headlines and captions rendered as real characters
  • Latin and Chinese text handled in the same image
  • Several variations per prompt to choose between

Why Creators Pick This Model

Qwen-Image is an open image foundation model, and the things it is unusually good at are the things that break most other generators.

Text That Survives the Render

Headlines, body copy, signage and UI labels come back spelled the way you typed them, in Latin and Chinese scripts alike, instead of dissolving into letter-shaped noise.

Edits That Respect the Original

Instruction-based editing changes what you asked about and leaves the rest of the pixels alone, so a background swap does not quietly rebuild the person standing in front of it.

Layout You Can Actually Direct

Say where things go — a headline across the top third, a product centred, a logo bottom-right — and the composition follows the instruction rather than reinterpreting it.

Output Sized for Real Work

High-resolution frames in the aspect ratio you asked for, clean enough to drop straight into a deck, a listing, a social post or a print layout.

About

What Is Qwen-Image?

An open image foundation model, and why the text rendering matters more than it sounds.

Qwen-Image is an openly released image generation and editing model from the Qwen series. Alongside ordinary text-to-image work it handles instruction-based editing, and it was trained with unusual attention to typography — which is why it can put a readable paragraph, a correctly spelled shop sign, or a Chinese couplet inside a generated picture instead of the approximate letter-shapes most models produce.

That one capability changes what the model is good for. A poster, a slide, a packaging panel or a UI mockup is mostly type, and a generator that cannot spell can only ever hand you a backdrop to add type onto later. Qwen Imaging is a hosted front end for that family: you get the generation and editing modes in a browser, without a checkout, a GPU, or a local install standing between you and the first result.

How it works

Four Steps to a Finished Image

The whole loop runs in the browser, and the slowest part is deciding what you want.

  1. Write the Prompt

Say what the picture shows, how it is framed, and what any text in it should read. Specific prompts beat long ones — naming the light, the lens feel and the layout does more than piling on adjectives.

  2. Set the Frame

Pick an aspect ratio for where the image is going — square for a feed, wide for a slide, tall for a story — and choose how many variations you want back.

  3. Generate

The model reads the prompt and returns your batch. Compare the variations, then either keep one or adjust the wording and run it again.

  4. Edit and Export

Feed a result back in with an instruction to fix what is off, then download the final frame at full resolution when it looks right.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

The things people ask before their first generation.

Text rendering and edit fidelity. Most generators treat lettering as texture, so a headline comes back as convincing-looking gibberish. Qwen-Image was trained to draw actual characters, in Latin and Chinese scripts, which makes it practical for posters, packaging, signage and slide art. Its editing side is instruction-based, so a requested change lands on the thing you named and leaves the rest of the frame intact.
